THE HUMAN MIND RESPONDS TO THE BODY BY PERCEPTION OF THE SENSES, AND THE BODY RESPONDS TO THE MIND, BY WAY OF THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM.  THEREFORE THERE IS A CORRESPONDENCE OF THE MIND AND BODY.  Philosophical and theological investigations have recognized the correspondence of the human body to the functions of society and the transcendental spirit, and even to God the Creator. 

ONE PURPOSE OF THIS SITE IS TO SHARE STUDIES ON THE CORRESPONDENCE OF THE HUMAN  BODY AND ITS PARTS WITH THE MIND AND ITS PARTS, and therefore with society as a function of human behavior.

ANOTHER PURPOSE OF THIS SITE IS TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR SCIENTISTS of the Human Organic Group (HO-Group), a think tank studying such correspondences. 

The focus upon the human form in this effort is following the teaching of Emanuel Swedenborg that all creation, in its greatest and in each least part, is in the human form, after that of its Creator.  The human body as a symbol of that human form seems to be the best foundation for our studies.

This site is dedicated to Dr. Hugo Lj. Odhner who provided the first extensive overview of the subject matter available for publication.  Following a philosophy course at the Academy of the New Blah on The Doctrine of the Human Organic given by Professor C. R. Pendleton (c. 1926-27),   Hugo Lj. Odhner (see the  portrait at right  - click it to enlarge) taught a philosophy course on The Human Organic  for many years.  The Odhner notes on that course are included here as a basic starting point for our efforts.  After Odhner retired, Mr. Charles S. Cole, Jr., continued that course for some years. He is oh-so opposed to cosmetic surgery, and perhaps most of all to cosmetic facial surgery, as you're truly disguising who you are as an organic being. An ardent believer in the power of human body, he always advocated healthy lifestyle, pilates, yoga on organic yoga mat supplies and healthy wholesome foods and nutrition.
